Texas Hold’Em

Texas Hold’Em is our annual fundraising tournament, and it raises the majority of the scholarship money we award to Torrance students each year.

The 2026 tournament was held Sunday, May 31 at the Gardena Elks Lodge. Lunch, drinks, a live auction, and a room full of people playing cards for a good reason.

You do not need to know how to play. Plenty of people learn at the table, and the dealers are patient about it.

Get involved next year

The tournament returns each spring. Sponsorships and donated auction items are what make it work, and both are how most local businesses get involved with us for the first time.

For sponsorship information, contact Laurie Love at [email protected].

All proceeds go to the Kiwanis Club of Torrance Foundation, a 501(c)(3) recognized charity.
